Political persecution
The press in this country talk a lot about political persecution in other countries – ‘look at how great we are’, they seem to say.
We are all aware of how the BNP are vilified in the press, and by other politicians – called far right and racists etc.. – rather than deal with the issues they raise. Now the politicians dont even have to stand on a platform with a BNP candidate – it seems they just say ‘dont want to’ and then they dont have to.
And the public seem to accept this.
And we have seen BNP members harrassed by the public and the police – most notably ol’ St. Nick taken to court – and found not guilty – but still they try.
Now in Liverpool BNP mayoral candidate cllr. Mike Whitby was arrested in his home, and ask yourself is this a democracy to be proud of?
Where are the BBC liberals crying ‘political persecution” – not here.
Where are the educated politicians – so sure of their beliefs that they will debate with any one? – not here.
Now I know the BNP are not right about everything, but they are about somethings – and we need to hear their side.
First they came for the women on the tram - and I did nothing.
Next they came for the footballer on the field - and I did nothing.
Then they came for the councillor in his house - and still I did nothing.
Then they came for me.
