If politics is the new ‘RnR’ – who are the EDL

I was thinking this to myself earlier (simple minds and all that) – Sex Pistols, seems most suitable – but they did crash and burn after great success – so no.

Black Sabbath – noisy, brash and full of vigor – good shout – but a bit too metal.

Rolling Stones – rock n roll – but too art school

ZZ top – Too American, and 2 beards.

Anyway – my choice is Oasis – working class lads, self taught, talented, in yer face, but with heart and soul.
