hypodermic needle attacks in north London.

Two women have been stabbed in suspected hypodermic needle attacks in north London.

On the morning of 18 November a woman, 24, was stabbed at a bus stop in Green Lanes by a man who then fled.

In an attack thought to be linked, another woman, 29, was stabbed in Ferme Park Road, Crouch End, on 23 November.

The victims were only slightly hurt but must undergo a series of medical tests to make sure they have not picked up HIV or any other infections.

The suspect is said to be of Mediterranean appearance and 6ft tall with dark hair. He wore a baseball cap and a dark jacket.
